Parhayi.com ("we", "us") is an education website. Many of our students are under 18. This page explains what we collect and why, in simple words.
What we collect
- Account details you give us when you sign up: name, mobile number, email (for teachers; optional for students), class, elective subject (Class 9), and school (for teachers). Your password is kept in a safe, scrambled form that we cannot read.
- Payment records: the amount, the transaction ID and the screenshot you upload, so that we can check your payment. We never see your card or bank login. If you send your details or a screenshot to us on WhatsApp, we use them only to check your payment.
- Premium use record: which Premium services you opened, used for the refund rule and to keep the website fair.
- Study progress: which chapters you opened, your test and practice results, and your settings. On this website most of this is saved on your own device.
- Payment details: if you buy Premium, the payment is handled by the payment service. We do not see or keep your card or account numbers.
- Technical data: browser type, device type and pages visited, to keep the website working and fast.
How we use it
- To show your name, class and subjects on your dashboard.
- To check payments and turn on Premium or Teacher Desk credit.
- If you tick the box, to send you offers and updates by SMS, WhatsApp or email. You can say stop at any time and we will stop.
- To open the material you paid for.
- To fix errors and improve the website.
- To answer your messages.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and advertising
Parhayi.com may show ads served by Google AdSense or other ad partners. These partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads, to measure them and to prevent misuse. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google account at adssettings.google.com, or block cookies in your browser settings. Premium students can use the website without ads.
The website also saves small items in your browser (local storage) so that you stay logged in and keep your progress. If you clear your browser data, these are removed.
Children
Students under 13 should use Parhayi.com with a parent or teacher. We do not knowingly ask young children for more than the name, class and subject needed for study. Parents can ask us to delete a child's information at any time by writing to [email protected].
Sharing
We share information only with services that help us run the website (hosting, database, payments, ads) and when the law requires it. These services have their own privacy policies. Your account information is stored with our database service provider (Supabase) on secure servers outside Pakistan. Only the owner of Parhayi.com can see your records.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information.
- You can ask us to close your account and delete your records.
- You can withdraw the permission to contact you about offers at any time.
